We are finally live!

We did it! Athena Classroom LLC is finally live. It has been a long road but it is finally time. We are starting with creating math resources for SAT math prep, pre-calculus, and geometry. Since these are the courses I will be teaching next year. But the eventual plan for this company is to create math curriculum and resources for all levels, K-12, and then move on to other subjects. The other subjects that we will eventually branch into are science, computer coding, engineering, music theory, creative activities for brain breaks and advisory classes, English, and history. I am a big believer in STEAM education because even though my primary job is as a high school math teacher, I also get to teach music in the fall through a marching band program. I have been a part of the performing arts for over 20 years as both a musician and working in the theater. And I don’t know where I would be without it. I plan to update this blog weekly in the future and add approximately five resources each week during the school year and ten resources a week during break. We will see if this plan goes off without a hitch. But I will leave you with this as a little inspiration for all the teachers waiting for the school year to end (because it is getting chaotic).
